RESTAURANT RATINGS

Ratings are relative to expectation. Service is expected to be finer at an expensive restaurant than at an inexpensive family spot; therefore, poor service at Louie's Original Pancake Kitchen ($5.35 for a complete meal, including all the syrup you want) will receive less severe treatment than poor service at Le Grand Coq d'Or ($24.95 for a demi-tasse cup of clarified quail bisque served in a bronzed oyster shell).
