Trade Winds

1 - There are a few quarterbacks on the market that will likely be traded before draft day. They are Drew Bledsoe, Mark Brunell, Shane Matthews. There are a handful of teams who are in the market for a quarterback. The Redskins and Bengals being the two teams with the greatest need. Look for both to try and aquire one of those quarterbacks before the draft. Bledose and Brunell will command multiple high draft picks. Shane Matthews has been drawing interest from his former coach in Steve Spurrier. It looks as though the Redskins might try to aquire Matthews for a sixth or seventh round pick. Buffalo and Houston also need quarterbacks, but they are expected to take care of that problem with their first round picks in the draft.

2 - Now that Ricky Williams is a Dolphin, another possible running back on the move is Fred Taylor. Jacksonville might be giving up on Taylor and he could be traded for some draft picks as well. He probably wouldn't command the type of picks Davis would, but if he can stay healthy, Taylor would be worth a second round draft choice gamble by a team like Cleveland or Arizona.
