Hampton Bays

THE BIG DUCK

Restored to its original 1930s condition, this designated Historic Site is a true East End landmark, currently owned by Suffolk County and under the supervision of the Division of Historic Services. It is a living museum which, with the help of Friends for Long Island's Heritage, offers an extensive line of duckabilia, saving many miles of travel for those visitors and/or local residents desperately in need of such. Big Duck is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and on weekends in April and May and September through December.
